Maryam provided an excellent vacation lodge in the NC mountains. The home was fully stocked and very comfortable for our family of 13. Our grandchildren enjoyed the movie and the game rooms. There was more than enough room for everyone to spread out and have their own space. Our family took advantage of both of the hot tubs! The views were spectacular. We highly recommend the Catawba Lodge.

I had a family Thanksgiving there we had approximately 14 bodies and we all fit perfect, there was a bed for everyone. the bedrooms are pretty sound proof. the down stair level had so many games a karaoke machine that was so fun. there was plenty room for everyone to sit and watch a movie and eat dinner on the second level. he thing I liked the most is we are a loud family and it was so big we spread out so much it never got over welling. the mountians are 20 minutes away, store is 10 minutes, such a beautiful place and so clean and comfy. I cant wait to come back.

Our family had a great time and we used Maryam’s home as a home base to visit Yosemite. The location is great and the home is beautiful. The pool and hot tub were a hit with the kids. We had many ping pong battles as well. I would highly recommend this place and she was always very responsive to any issues. I would recommend using Google maps to guide you to the correct location up the dirt road to the house. All in all we had a great time and will hopefully be back.

We had a fantastic stay at this mountain cabin. The place is huge and it made spreading out and relaxing ridiculously easy. The beds were super comfy, the showers were hot (bless), and everything felt clean and well taken care of. The movie room and game room were absolute gems. On the nights we didn’t feel like going anywhere, we just settled in with a movie or played games and it felt like our own private lodge. The deck deserves its own shout-out. Great view, peaceful, and the perfect place for morning coffee or just zoning out with the trees. Overall, a wonderful stay. Would happily return and recommend to anyone looking for a cozy but spacious mountain escape

We had an amazing stay and Maryam was a lovely host and super easy to work with. Also was very kind to be flexible with a later checkout time and was communicative throughout the whole process. The home is amazing and very homey and perfect for hosting a large group of friends like we had. Would definitely recommend and go again!

It's rare when the home is just as pretty in person as it is in pictures but this place absolutely is. Beautiful house with an amazing view. The hosts were very friendly and always responsive. Had a weekend getaway with some friends here and we all said we could not have picked a better place and will book again in the future! 5 stars

This home is situated in the incredibly quaint town of Mariposa, which is filled with many delightful restaurants unique to the town. It is also a reasonable distance from Yosemite, which is what I mostly used it for. The host is incredibly responsive and very helpful. The home is very spacious has everything needed to make a stay warm, fun, and memorable. The kitchen has all that is needed for cooking / baking. There is a great museum that is very well put together if you want to learn a bit about the area. This was a fantastic stay, and would highly recommend!

We had an amazing stay at this Yosemite Oasis! The house was spotless — everything felt so clean and well cared for, from the kitchen to the bathrooms. The beds were incredibly comfortable, and we all slept so well after long days exploring. My kids loved the gameroom! The hot tub were perfect for relaxing in the evenings, and the mountain views were stunning. You can really tell the hosts put a lot of thought into every detail. It was the perfect getaway for our family, and we can’t wait to come back! Highly recommend for anyone visiting Yosemite!
